Tryout Form – 5 Star Great Lakes Chiefs

Parent's are to select the age group and the times for those age groups will automatically load. The tryouts are two day tryouts. When you click submit you will be redirected to pay the $25.00 registration fee.

Outdoor: Crown Point Legacy Fields, Field 6 (1313 East North Street, Crown Point, IN 46307). Players will run laser timed 40 or 60 yd dash based on age, Infield and Outfield. Players should wear baseball pants, jersey/t-shirt, baseball hat and molded cleats (no metal cleats).

Indoor: Great Lakes Sports Hub (1301 Merrillville Road, Crown Point, IN 46307). Players will pitch using pocket radar and rhapsodo, hit in our Hittrax cage and catchers will catch bullpens and throw to all bases. Players can wear shorts (catchers will want to wear pants), jersey/t-shirt, baseball hat and turf shoes or gym shoes.

$25 registration fee

2 day tryouts: We are using a 2 day tryout format this year to give players ample opportunity to perform and show their skills while also allowing players and parents to see the full scope of our facilities and training tools that we use to provide the best development program in the midwest.

Please have players prepared with all equipment and water.
